Our 90 Degree Chicken Adapter can be used with any of our coop models and is designed to work with our Chicken Run. The adapter allows you to arrange your run with a 90 degree “bend”. This is a very attractive setup if you are placing your coop and run in the corner of your property. It’s also a great way to place the units around existing structures, such as sheds.
The unit is 3 feet wide, 3 feet long, and 2 feet high. It is made out of cedar, so is resistant to weather and insects. The wire covering is standard 1″ poultry netting. Our braced square construction results in a strong, yet lightweight, run. The upright posts use our standard 2×2 cedar (the same material used in the coops).
The unit is very easy to set up. Simply butt it against one of the lower chicken coop doors, stake down with standard tent stakes, align the run against its other opening, and you are done. Our sliding door design on the coops mean that sealing the run from the coop at night is easy, too.
