We highly recommend that you arrange an appointment to see the Chicken Coops in person at our Austin, Texas location. This is the best way for us to work together to determine if our products fit your needs.
There is also another very practical reason for doing this: Shipping is expensive. Many manufactuers have pricing which includes shipping. What they don’t often make clear is that a significant portion of your purchase price is the shipping cost. Frankly, we would rather sell our units locally at a reasonable price, than make them unaffordable.
The larger Brentview model is available as a complete unit. For transport, it will require a pickup truck with at least a 3′ x 6′ bed.
The smaller Crestview model is available as a complete unit or as a pre-fabricated kit. For transport, the complete unit will require a pickup truck with at least a 3′ x 6′ bed or a cargo van (with at least 4′ of clearance, or the unit can be laid on its side). We have designed the Crestview kit to fit into the trunk of a mid-sized car (a Toyota Corolla, for example).
If you do not have access to transport, we can arrange to deliver the units personally. At this time we can offer delivery within the Central Texas region. This covers Austin, Temple and Waco to the North, Bastrop and Giddings to the East, San Antonio and Luling to the South, and Llano and Fredricksburg to the West. If you live futher out from Austin, please contact us and we can determine which method of delivery is most economical (either freight shipping or personal delivery).
